As a Medior Network Engineer, you are the driving force behind stable and secure network infrastructures. Your key responsibilities include:

• Network Management: Configuring and maintaining routers, switches, and access points.
• Troubleshooting: Resolving level 1/2 issues and providing support to senior engineers.
• Security: Implementing basic security measures and assisting with firewall management.
• Documentation: Keeping network configurations and procedures up to date.
• Support and Collaboration: Contributing to network projects and performing updates and upgrades.

You will work with advanced technologies and platforms such as Cisco IOS, Meraki Dashboard, Ubiquiti UniFi, and cloud networking with AWS and Azure. You stay up to date with the latest developments in LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, firewalls, and network virtualization.

To be successful in this role, you bring:

• Language Skills: Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
• Experience and Knowledge: At least 2 years of experience in setting up network infrastructures.
• Education and Certifications:
  • Diploma or certificate in Computer Science (additional training or courses are a plus).
  • CCNA or CompTIA Network+ for Network Management and Architecture.
  • Optional: Palo Alto PCNSA or Fortinet NSE 4 for Network Security.
  • ITIL Foundation for IT Service Management.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Wi-Fi solutions, VoIP, data center networking, and cloud network solutions.
• Soft Skills:
  • Independence and flexibility to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly to all stakeholders.
• Driving License: Strongly recommended for visiting different locations.
